Mr. McDonald has been active in the equipment leasing business his working life, serving as President for several organizations such as First City Capital, Tuckahoe Leasing, Citi Capital and Lift Capital (now Toyota Leasing). His background spans all aspects of management in the Term Lending and Equipment Leasing industry. Over a 40-year period, he has directly managed the origination and servicing of over $1 billion in commercial leases and loans.

He also served on the Board of Directors of public companies, the Canadian Equipment Finance and Leasing Association and is the former President of the Islington Golf Club in Toronto.
